About DD's

DDs got started in the late 90s as a spontaneous moment in our founder's life....

Mission Statement:

To provide a laid-back, family-oriented studio that combines current and correct technique with individual and family attention,to keep life as simple as possible and to create awesome dancers with great self-esteem!!!!!



Instructors

Kim Revie
Owner/instructor of dance class for 17 years! BA in dance from Webster Univ. 1991. Technical, fun, sweet, and kind of loud teacher.  Her students have gone on to careers in dance and dance instruction.

Arica Brown:
Arica has a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Dance from The University of Missouri - St. Louis with an emphasis in Dance Composition. She completed the Somatic Studies Program on the campus of Washington University and has taught for Miss Kim's Dance Studios since 2008. She is founder and Artistic Director of Consuming Kinetics Dance Company, in residence at Miss Kim's Dance Studios. Her passion for composition is multi-media and her favorite genres to teach are Modern, Zumba, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Breaking and Pom!


Justin Michael
Justin is from Cincinnati, Ohio where he began his classical ballet training at the age of 13. His primary training was through the School for Creative and Performing Arts, while his summers were spent receiving additional training at the Chautauqua Institute and with the Cincinnati, Boston and Houston Ballet's. Following high school, Justin attended Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA and received his B.A. in Dance from the institution in 2009. Professionally, Justin has danced with the Lake Erie Ballet (Erie, PA), Ballet Concerto (Ft. Worth, TX), North Carolina Dance Theatre II (Charlotte, NC) and is currently a member of the St. Louis Ballet. His choreography has been performed by the Mercyhurst Dancers, North Carolina Dance Theatre and St. Louis Ballet among others. In 2009, Justin's duet Behind Closed Doors was a gala selection at the American College Dance Festival. He has been a teacher with Ms. Kim since 2010.
